Are You Ready To Experience The Art Of The Masters?
You don't need to be experienced to learn how to create using this beautiful technique.
This online class, takes you step by step through the process with access for one full year!
bas-relief (pronounced "bah ree·leef") is a sculpture technique in which figures and/or other design elements are just barely more prominent than the (overall flat) background. The technique dates back as far as 30,000 years ago when reliefs were found in caves.
It went on through the Middle Ages and to current times to be used in churches and in later times, in many types of architecture. The famed Arc de Triomphe in Paris is an example of Bas Relief with its many sculptures and figures.
